Welcome to Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop!  This month our theme is “Celebrate Summer”.  My project today features the Jar of Flowers Stamp Set, the Four Season Floral Stamp Set, the Artistry Blooms Designer Series Paper and the Stitched Rectangle Dies.  We have a great group of participants in our hop this month.  Please take time to stop by to visit each blog to see what the Inkin’ Krew Team members are sharing with you today.

One of my favorite things about summer is having time to work in my flower garden and enjoying the blooms.  So today I am Celebrating Summer with a pretty bouquet from the Jar of Flowers stamp set.

To begin, cut a panel of Artistry Blooms Designer Series Paper using the largest die from the Stitched Rectangles Dies.  Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the DSP to the front of a Whisper White Thick card base.  Then stamp the sunflower bouquet image from the Jar of Flowers Stamp Set on a panel of Whisper White Thick card stock using Tuxedo Black Memento ink.  Mask the lower part of the bouquet and stamp the stems image.

Color the flowers and stems as shown using Stampin’ Blends.  You can see all the marker colors at the end of this post in the list of products used.  Use the third to largest die from the Stitched Rectangles Dies to crop the panel.  Wrap a length of 1/4″ Daffodil Delight Ruched Ribbon around the art piece, securing the ends on the back side with tape.  Adhere the art piece to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stamp the sentiment from the Four Season Floral Stamp set with Memento Black ink on a scrap of Whisper White Thick card stock and crop using the Classic Label Punch.  Trim off one end with Paper Snips before adhering to the card front with Dimensionals.  Add a bow adhered with Mini Glue Dots to complete.

Cut a panel of Whisper White Thick card stock using the largest die in the Stitched Rectangles Dies.  Stamp the flower image from the Four Season Floral Stamp set using Tuxedo Black Memento ink and color with Stampin’ Blends.  Adhere it to the inside of the card base with Liquid Glue.  Done!

Here’s a picture of some Black-Eyed Susan’s growing in my garden.  Not sure where that name came from.  They’re also known as Rudbeckia.  I grow them for the butterflies and bees, and love that they are perennials and come back every year.
