Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  Please be sure to visit everyone’s blog  to see the great projects they are sharing with you this week.  My project today features the new Gorgeous Posies Stamp Set, the Flowers For Every Season Designer Series Paper, and the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.  We are all working with a sketch challenge this week – here’s my project:

And here is the sketch we are using:Flowers always brighten my day and the Flowers For All Seasons Designer Series Paper has so many options to choose from!  I picked these daisies to make a card to celebrate a friends’ special day.

To begin, adhere a panel of the Designer Series Paper to a panel of Just Jade card stock with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Use Glue to adhere the layer to the front of a Daffodil Delight card base.

Use Just Jade ink to stamp the sentiment from the Gorgeous Posies stamp set on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  Crop the sentiment panel with a die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.  Cut a length of Just Jade In Color 1/4″ Ribbon and create a couple loops in it, adhering to the back of the sentiment label with Mini Glue Dots.

Adhere the sentiment label to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Use small dabs of Liquid Glue to adhere a few Flowers for Every Season Gems to the label for a bit of sparkle and shine.

Fussy-cut an image from the Flowers For All Seasons DSP and adhere it in the bottom right corner of a panel of Whisper White card stock with Liquid Glue.  Adhere the panel to a mat of Just Jade card stock and then adhere the completed layer to the inside of the card with Glue.  Do you have someone in mind that would love receiving this card?
