Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers Thanks for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  Please be sure to visit everyone’s blog  to see the great projects they are sharing with you this week.  My project today features the new Celebrate Sunflowers Bundle, Lovely Labels Pick A Punch, Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder, Gilded Gems and Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack.  All of these are now available for ordering!  We are all working with a color challenge this week – here’s my project:

And here are the colors we are all using:This card is inspired by one made by Cindy Elam.  Use the large detailed petal die from the Sunflowers Dies set to cut an opening in a panel of Whisper White card stock.  Use Old Olive ink to stamp the larger leaf from the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set numerous times around the edge flower opening.  Then use the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder to add texture to the panel.

Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the Whisper White panel to a panel of Bumble Bee DSP from the 2020-22 6″x 6″ Designer Series Paper Assortment Stack.  Use the large detailed petal die from the Sunflowers Dies to cut a flower from Early Espresso card stock.  Use Glue to adhere the die cut sunflower to the DSP through the opening in the Whisper White panel.  Then adhere the completed art piece to the front of an Old Olive card base with Liquid Glue.

Stamp the sentiment from the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set with Early Espresso ink on a strip of Whisper White card stock.  Trim one end of the strip with the Lovely Labels Pick A Punch. Adhere the label to another one cut from Old Olive card stock.  The sentiment label is adhered to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Use the Sunflowers Dies to cut a few leaves from Old Olive card stock.  Adhere them to one end of the label.  Tie a bow using the Gold Metallic Trim from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack and adhere to the label with a Glue Dot.  Embellish the flower center, label and card front with Gilded Gems.

Use Old Olive ink to stamp a few leaves on a panel of Whisper White card stock before adhering it to the inside of the card with Liquid Glue.
