Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  Please be sure to visit everyone’s blog  to see the great projects they are sharing with you this week.  My project today features the Positive Thoughts Stamp Set and the Nature’s Thoughts Dies.  We are all working with a sketch challenge this week – here’s my project:

And here is the sketch we are all using this week:

I chose to make a Fun Fold Card based on one I made a number of years ago.  Not sure why I waited so long – it truly is fun to make!  Measure down 1-3/4″ from the top of the card front and cut straight across.  Then cut along the fold to remove the panel.

Use Granny Apple Green ink stamped off once to stamp the leaf image multiple times across a panel of Whisper White card stock.  Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere to the card front.  Use Rococo Rose ink stamped off once to stamp the blooms image 3 times on Whisper White Thick card stock, then cut out with the coordinating die from the Nature’s Thoughts Die Set.  Use Balmy Blue ink full strength to stamp the butterfly image 2 times on Whisper White Thick card stock, then cut out with the coordinating die from the Nature’s Thoughts Dies Set.

Use Liquid Glue to adhere the blooms along the top edge of the card front, with about 1/2 of the bloom extending beyond the cut edge.  Fold the butterflies in half and add glue along the edge of the fold to adhere the butterflies to the card front.  Use Clear Wink of Stella to add some sparkle to the two butterflies.  Embellish the card front with Rhinestone and Pearl Basic Jewels.

Use Granny Apple Green stamped off twice to add the leaf image on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  Stamp the sentiments from the Positive Thoughts stamp set with Balmy Blue ink.  The butterfly is Balmy Blue ink stamped off once, cut out with the coordinating die and adhered flat with Liquid Glue.  Add a little sparkle to the butterfly with Clear Wink of Stella.    I hope you’ll try this fun fold too!
