Stampin’ Up! Daisy Lane on Plaid for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  Please be sure to visit everyone’s blog  to see the great projects they are sharing with you this week.  My project today features the Daisy Lane Stamp Set, the Medium Daisy Punch, the Country Club Designer Series Paper and the Ornate Frames Dies with a Sneak Peek of the Forever Flourishing Dies.  We are all working with a color challenge this week – here’s my project:

And here are the colors we are using:

The products used on this card are a mixture of retiring, carrying-over and coming soon – what fun!  The plaid is Country Club DSP that is retiring, along with the Perennial Essence Floral Centers.  The Daisy Lane Stamp Set, Medium Daisy Punch and Ornate Frames Dies are carrying-over into the new annual Catalog and the leaves are a Sneak Peek of the NEW Forever Flourishing Dies.

Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere a panel of Country Club DSP to a panel of Whisper White card stock.  Adhere the layer to the card front with Liquid Glue, as well.  Use Night of Navy ink to stamp the medium size daisy flower on Whisper White card stock.  You’ll need six images for the card front and two for the inside.  Punch them out with the Medium Daisy Punch.  Stack two daisies with the petals offset, adhering in the center with Glue.  Shape the petals with your fingers to add dimension.  Adhere the flowers to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Cut the leaves from Garden Green card stock with a die from the Forever Flourishing dies.  Slide them under the flowers and adhere with Liquid Glue.  Use Night of Navy ink to stamp the sentiment from the Daisy Lane stamp set on a panel of Whisper White card stock and cut out with a die from the Ornate Frames Dies.  Adhere with Dimensionals.  Add Perennial Essence Floral Centers to the daisies to complete.

Use Liquid Glue to adhere a stacked daisy to the bottom right corner of a panel of Whisper White card stock before adhering the panel to the inside of the card base.  You can color the center of the daisy with a Daffodil Delight Blends marker, if you wish.
