Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Bouquet Goodbye for Simply Stampin’ Sunday

Welcome to Simply Stampin’ Sunday – my post of Clean And Simple projects that can be made in minutes using Stampin’ Up! products.  This week’s card features the retiring Beautiful Bouquet Stamp Set, Sorry for Everything Stamp Set, Bouquet Bunch Dies and Blueberry Bushel 1/8″ Grosgrain Ribbon, along with the retiring 2018-2020 In-Color Inks.

I love the bright colors of the 2018-2020 In Colors and I’m sorry to see them go, but it’s time to say goodbye.  The Beautiful Bouquet Stamp Set and coordinating Bouquet Bunch Dies are also retiring.  And the Sorry for Everything Stamp Set is retiring as well.  So if you see something you like, the time to act is now!

Use sponge daubers to add ink to the flower stamps by adding the light color first and then the dark color.

Here are the Simple Steps to make this card:

  1. Cut a 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ panel Blueberry Bushel card stock and score at 4-1/4″ for card base.
  2. Use Call Me Clover ink to stamp the flower stems image from the Beautiful Bouquet Stamp Set on the left side of a 4″ x 5-1/4″ panel of Whisper White card stock.
  3. Use Grapefruit Grove ink to stamp the the word “Sorry” from the Sorry for Everything Stamp Set on the same panel.
  4. Then adhere the panel to the front of the card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
  5. Use Call Me Clover ink to stamp “to see you go” on a scrap of Whisper White card stock.
  6. Use Paper Snips to trim the sentiment and add it to the panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  7. Use sponge daubers to ink the flower stamps from the Beautiful Bouquet Stamp Set with Lovely Lipstick, Pineapple Punch and Grapefruit Grove inks on scraps of Whisper White card stock.
  8. Cut the flowers out using the coordinating Bouquet Bunch Dies.
  9. Cut the leafy branches from Call Me Clover card stock with a die from the Bouquet Bunch Die set and clip to desired length.
  10. Layer the leaves and flowers over the stamped stem image and adhere with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
  11. Tie a bow from Blueberry Bushel 1/8″ Grosgrain Ribbon and add to the card front with a couple Mini Glue Dots.
  12. Add a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels to complete.
  13. Adhere a stamped die cut flower and a couple die cut leaves to a 4″ x 5-1/4″ panel of Whisper White card stock using Liquid Glue.
  14. Use Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the card base to complete.
