Stampin’ Up! Layered With Kindness Birthday for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  Please be sure to visit everyone’s blog  to see the great projects they are sharing with you this week.  My project today features the Layered With Kindness Stamp Set, the coordinating Label Me Lovely Punch and Label Me Fancy Punch and the Flowering  Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper from the Sale-A-Bration second release We are all working with a sketch challenge this week – here’s my project:

And here is the sketch we are using:

I used the new Flowering Foils Specialty DSP from the Sale-A-Bration 2nd release on my card today.  And because it’s Foil, it’s very pretty and shiny and very, very hard to capture in pictures.  This paper has a white background and foil flowers in silver and rose gold.  It’s a great background for the front of this card.

To begin, adhere a panel of the Flowering Foils Specialty DSP to a Petal Pink card stock panel with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then use Glue to adhere the layer to the front of a Smoky Slate card base.  Use Copper Stampin’ Emboss Powder to add the sentiment label  from the Layered with Kindness stamp set twice – once on a panel of Smoky Slate card stock and again on a panel of Whisper White card stock.

Use the Label Me Lovely Punch to cut out the Smoky Slate label and the Label Me Fancy Punch to cut out the Whisper White label.  Layer the labels and adhere with Liquid Glue.  Add a length of Petal Pink Metallic Edge Ribbon to the card front, looping as shown.  Adhere the sentiment label over the ribbon with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Use a die from the Nature’s Thoughts Dies to cut two leaves from a Champagne Foil sheet.  Tuck them under the label, as shown, adhering with Liquid Glue.  Use Paper Snips to fussy-cut a couple flowers front the DSP and adhere to sentiment.  Then embellish with a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels and Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

Adhere a couple more fussy-cut flowers to a panel of Whisper White card stock with Liquid Glue.  Then use Glue to adhere the panel to a mat of Petal Pink card stock and then to the inside of the card base.
