Stampin’ Up! Best Dressed Shoes for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  Please be sure to visit everyone’s blog  to see the great projects they are sharing with you for this challenge.  My project today features the Dressed to Impress Bundle and the Best Dressed Designer Series Paper .  We are all working with a sketch challenge this week – here’s my project:

And here’s the sketch we are following this week:

Are you a shoe collector?  I used to be, not so much anymore.  But aren’t these cute shoes so much fun to use on a card?  This card can be used for a number of different occasions – or even just a note.

This card is pretty simple.  Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere a panel of Best Dressed Designer Series Paper to a panel of Pretty Peacock card stock.  The panels are the same size so you need to adhere them offset a bit, so the card stock shows a bit along each side.  Adhere the layer to the front of a Blushing Bride card base.  Stamp the sentiment on a panel of Whisper White card stock with Pretty Peacock ink.  Use a label die from the Dressed to Impress Die set to cut it out.

Adhere the label to a panel of Pretty Peacock card stock and use your Paper Snips to trim around the panel to create a mat for the sentiment.  Adhere the sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Embellish the label with a pink sequin from the Iridescent Sequin Collection and a couple gems from the Pretty Peacock Rhinestones.  Add some sparkle to a few select shoes with a Clear Wink of Stella Brush.

Use Tuxedo Black Memento Ink to stamp the shoe from the Dressed to Impress stamp set on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  Use Stampin’ Blends to color the shoe.  Adhere the panel to a mat of Pretty Peacock card stock in the same manner as the card front.  Then adhere the layer to the inside of the card.   Use the Clear Wink of Stella Brush to add sparkle to the shoe.  And you’re done!
