Welcome to Simply Stampin’ Sunday – my post of Clean And Simple projects that can be made in minutes using Stampin’ Up! products.  This week’s Friendship Card features the Tropical Oasis Memories & More Card Pack the Coastal Weave 3D Embossing Folder and a sentiment from the Timeless Tropical stamp set – all part of the Tropical Oasis Suite.

The Coastal Weave 3D Embossing Folder adds just the right amount of texture to this card front, and it’s the perfect background for the image fussy-cut from a Memories & More Tropical Oasis card.

The sentiment banner is trimmed by hand and adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals just above the wrapped Linen Thread.  A triple loop bow finishes it off.

Stamp a few leaves from the Timeless Tropical stamp set on the inside panel to complete.  Easy-peasy.

Here are the Simple Steps to make these cards:

1. Cut a 4-1/4″ x 11″ panel of Soft Suede card stock and score at 5-1/2″ for card base.
2. Use the Coastal Weave 3D Embossing Folder to add texture to a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ panel of Grapefruit Grove card stock.
3. Then square the panel up by cutting it down to finished size of  3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″.
4. Use SNAIL to adhere the panel to a 4″ x 5-1/4″ panel of Whisper White Thick card stock.
5. Use Paper Snips to fussy cut an image from the Tropical Oasis Memories & More card pack.
6. Adhere the image to the embossed layer with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
7. Wrap a length of Linen Thread around the front layer three times, securing the ends on the back side with tape.
8. Use Old Olive ink to stamp the sentiment from the Timeless Tropical stamp set on a panel of Whisper White Thick card stock.
9. Trim the sentiment banner to size using your Paper Trimmer.  Trim the ends of the banner with Paper Snips.
10. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment banner to the front panel just above the wrapped thread.
11. Tie a triple loop bow from Linen Thread and use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere.
12. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the completed panel to the front of the card base.
13. Use Old Olive ink to stamp the leaf image from the Timeless Tropical stamp set on a 4″ x 5-1/2″ panel of Whisper White card stock.
14. Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the stamped panel to the inside of the card.
