Stampin’ Up! Painted Poppies Birthday for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop

Welcome to Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop!  This month our theme is “Birthday”.  My  project features the Painted Poppies Stamp Set and Peaceful Moments Stamp Set and Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper.  We have a great group of participants in our hop this month.  Please take time to stop by to visit each blog to see what the Inkin’ Krew Team members are sharing with you today.

I love all the floral designs in the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper and decided to showcase this one on my card front.  To begin, use Jet Black StazOn ink to stamp the sentiment from the Peaceful Moments Stamp Set on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the stamped panel to a Flirty Flamingo card stock mat.  Then adhere the completed layer to the front of the Poppy Parade card base.

Use Liquid Glue to adhere the panel of Peaceful Poppies DSP to a mat of Basic Black card stock.  Then adhere the art piece to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Tie a bow with a length of black twine from the Country Club Twine Combo Pack.  Adhere the bow to the art piece with a Mini Glue Dot.  Embellish the card front with a few of the flower shaped sequins from the Peaceful Poppies Sequins collection.  I used small dabs of Liquid Glue to adhere them.

Use Jet Black StazOn ink to stamp the flower images from the Painted Poppies Stamp Set across the bottom of a panel of Whisper White card stock.  Reink the stamp each time you stamp it.  Use Flirty Flamingo ink to stamp the large splotch image over the blooms.  Use Poppy Parade ink to stamp the small splotch image multiple times across the blooms – reink every other time.  Use Old Olive ink to stamp the small splotch image multiple times across the flower stems – reink after every third time.  The sentiment is from the Peaceful Moments Stamp set stamped with Black ink.
