Stampin’ Up! Perfectly Framed Blossoms Valentine for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  Please be sure to visit everyone’s blog  to see the great projects they are sharing with you for this challenge.  My card today features the new Perfectly Framed stamp set and Ornate Frames Dies paired with the Heart Punch Pack and new Parisian Blossoms Specialty Designer Series Paper.  We are all working with a color challenge this week – here’s my card:

And here are the colors we are using:

The Parisian Blooms Specialty Designer Series Paper is a collection of soft, elegant patterns with champagne foil accents on some of the designs.  Although it’s not easy to capture the foil accents in pictures, they add a very special touch.  To begin, adhere a panel of the Parisian Blooms Specialty DSP to a Pool Party card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Cut a panel of Whisper White card stock with the largest scalloped rectangle die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies set.  Add texture with the Scripty 3D embossing folder.  Then adhere to a panel of Petal Pink card stock with Liquid Glue or SNAIL.  Cut a couple of hearts from Parisian Blooms Specialty DSP with the smooth edged heart punch from the Heart Punch Pack.  Adhere them to scallop edged hearts cut from Pool Party card stock with the second punch in the Heart Punch Pack.  They layer beautifully!

Adhere the hearts to the prepared layer as shown.  The heart on the right is adhered with Glue and the heart on the left is adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.   Then adhere the artpiece to the card base with Dimensionals, as well.  The sentiment from the Perfectly Framed stamp set is stamped on a panel of Petal Pink card stock with Black ink and cut out with the sweet label die from the Ornate Frames Dies set.  Adhere to the card front with a Dimensional on the left end and Glue on the portion over the heart.  Embellish with some Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels and a bow tied with Petal Pink 1/4″ Metallic-Edge Ribbon.

The inside of the card has a couple fussy-cut blooms from the Parisian Blossoms Specialty DSP adhered to a panel of Whisper White card stock with a Petal Pink card stock mat.  The completed layer is adhered to the inside of the card with Glue.  The foil accents in the centers of the flowers show up a little more in this picture.  So sweet!
