Welcome to Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop! This month our theme is “Celebrate”. My project features Sneak Peeks of the Under My Umbrella Stamp Set and Umbrella Builder Punch and the Best Dressed 6″x 6″ Designer Series Paper, all from the January – June 2020 Mini Catalog. I have chosen to celebrate Friendship. We have a great group of participants in our hop this month. The Best Dressed 6″x 6″ Designer Series Paper features a collection of soft floral prints, so pretty! I used three of the patterns on this card – the card front, the label and the umbrella are all from this series.
To begin, adhere a panel of the Best Dressed DSP to a mat of Lovely Lipstick card stock with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then use Liquid Glue to adhere the layer to the front of a card made of Whisper White Thick card stock.
Use the Stitched Nested Labels Dies to cut a label from the DSP and also from Old Olive card stock. Adhere the card stock to the back of the DSP label with Liquid Glue to add stability. Wrap a length of Lovely Lipstick 1/8″ Grosgrain Ribbon around the label, securing the ends on the back with tape and then adhere the label to the card front with Stampin’ Dimesionals. Use Lovely Lipstick Ink to stamp the umbrella from the Under My Umbrella stamp set on a panel of DSP and cut out with the coordinating Umbrella Builder Punch. Punch again from Whisper White Thick card stock and adhere to the back side of the umbrella with Liquid Glue to add stability.
Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the umbrella to the label. Punch the umbrella handle from Lovely Lipstick card stock and adhere to the label with dabs of Liquid Glue. Stamp the sentiment from the Under My Umbrella stamp set on a panel of Whisper White Thick card stock and cut out with a die from the Stitched Labels Dies. Adhere the sentiment to the card over the ribbon with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Embellish with a small bow and a few Melon Mambo rhinestones from the Noble Peacock Rhinestones sheet.
The inside panel of Whisper White card stock has a strip of DSP adhered along the bottom edge. Stamp the sentiment from the Under My Umbrella stamp set with Lovely Lipstick Ink before adhering the panel to a mat of Lovely Lipstick card stock with Liquid Glue. Then adhere the layer to the inside of the card with Glue. I hope you celebrate your friendships, too!
