Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  Please be sure to visit everyone’s blog  to see the great projects they are sharing with you for this challenge.  Today’s Wedding Card features a Sneak Peek of the Forever Blossoms Stamp Set paired with a panel of the Shimmer Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper from the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog.  We are all working with a sketch challenge this week – here’s my card:

The Shimmer Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper has sheets with patterns designed to be cut out and used on card fronts.  I love this botanical design and feel it’s perfect for the wedding card I need in a few weeks.  I cut it carefully with my paper cutter, taking care to keep the frame an even width on all 4 sides.

Adhere the laser-cut panel to the front of a Pretty Peacock card front as shown using little dabs of Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  The sentiment from the new Forever Blossoms stamp set is heat embossed on a panel of Shimmery White Card Stock using Gold Stampin’ Emboss powder.  Cut it out with the Pretty Label Punch.  Cut a second label from a Gold Foil Sheet, cut in half up the middle and adhere to the back of the sentiment piece so there’s a reveal of gold foil on the right and left sides of the label.

Add a length of Gold 3/8″ Metallic Edge Ribbon to the card front with Mini Glue Dots.  Adhere the sentiment label over the ribbon with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Cut some branches from Gold Foil Sheets using the Butterfly Beauty Dies.  Use the Christmas Cardinal Dies to cut some Gold Foil swirls and some Vellum card stock branches.  Tuck them under the label and adhere with small dabs of Liquid Glue and Mini Glue Dots.  Embellish with a few of the new Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

Stamp the sentiment from the Forever Blossoms stamp set with Pretty Peacock ink on a panel of Shimmery White card stock.  Adhere to the inside of the card with Liquid Glue.  How special to have the ability to use the colors from the wedding in your handmade card!
