Stampin’ Up! Most Wonderful Time to Deck the Halls for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  Please be sure to visit everyone to see the great projects they are sharing with you for this challenge.  My card features the Most Wonderful Time Stamp Set and the Most Wonderful Time Dies, plus the Most Wonderful Time Specialty Designer Series Paper all from the Most Wonderful Time Product Medley!  We are all working with a sketch challenge this week – here’s my card:

And here is the sketch we are using:

This card is pretty Clean and Simple, but elegant at the same time.

The Most Wonderful Time Product Medley includes a great collection of products for holiday card making and projects.  Check it out on page 39 of the Holiday Catalog.  There’s a stamp set with 11 stamps – including images and sentiments, a set of 6 coordinating dies, 48 sheets of 6″x 6″ Designer Series Paper (8 each of 6 double-sided designs with Gold Foil accents), 12 additional Gold Foil printed card fronts, 7 sticker sheets, 58 adhesive-backed Gold Faceted Stars and some Gold/White Tinsel Trim.  Add some card stock, ink and adhesives and you can make a TON of cards !!!

To make this card, adhere a panel of the Most Wonderful Time DSP to a mat of Old Olive card stock with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then adhere the completed layer to the front of a Basic Black card base.  Stamp the sentiment from the Most Wonderful Time stamp set on a Gold Foil sheet with Jet Black StazOn ink before cutting it out with the label die from the Most Wonderful Time die set.

Cut a strip Basic Black card stock and flag the ends using the Banner Triple Punch.  Adhere the stamped label to the black banner with Liquid Glue. Adhere a length of the Gold/White Tinsel Trim to the back side of the label with Glue Dots before adhering the sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The inside of the card has a strip of the DSP adhered along the left edge of a panel of Whisper White card stock with Liquid Glue.  Adhere the the inside panel to an Old Olive card stock mat before adhering to the inside of the card.
