Stampin’ Up! Harvest Hellos 3 x 3 Cards for Simply Stampin’ Sunday

Welcome to Simply Stampin’ Sunday – my post of Clean And Simple projects that can be made in minutes using Stampin’ Up! products.  This week’s project features the Harvest Hellos Stamp Set and the coordinating Apple Builder Punch.  Here are a couple 3″ x 3″ cards to celebrate Halloween and Thanksgiving.

These cards were some of the projects we made today at our Inky Fingers Krew team meeting.  We try to spend a little time together each month – eating lunch and getting inky, sharing ideas and our love of paper crafting.  Interested in joining us? Contact me here.

This sweet little Halloween card would be great to use as a Random Act of Kindness for someone who made your day, or maybe someone who could use a lift to make their day.

This Thanksgiving card would be perfect to show your appreciation to someone, or maybe use it for place cards at your Thanksgiving celebration.

Here are the Simple Steps to make these projects:

Halloween Card

  1. Cut a 3″ x 6″ panel of Whisper White Thick card stock.  Score at 3″ and fold in half as the card base.  This card is a tent fold.
  2. Use Tuxedo Black ink to stamp the pumpkin image on a panel of Pumpkin Pie card stock.  Stamp the Jack-o-Lantern face on the pumpkin as well.
  3. Use the Apple Builder Punch to cut out the pumpkin.
  4. Stamp the sentiment from the Harvest Hellos stamp set with Tuxedo Black Memento ink in the upper right corner of a 2-5/8″ x 2-5/8″ panel of Whisper White card stock.
  5. Determine the placement of the pumpkin and then stamp the tendril with Pear Pizzazz ink.
  6. Use the Apple Builder Punch to cut out a stem from Pear Pizzazz card stock, then adhere the stem to the front panel with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
  7. Adhere the front panel to a 2-3/4″ x 2-3/4″ panel of Pumpkin Pie card stock.
  8. Then adhere the completed layer to the card front using Liquid Glue.
  9. Adhere the pumpkin to the front panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Thanksgiving Card

  1. Cut a 3″ x 6″ panel of Whisper White Thick card stock.  Score at 3″ and fold in half as the card base.  This card is a book fold.
  2. Use Tuxedo Black ink to stamp the pumpkin image on a panel of Whisper White Thick card stock.
  3. Use the Apple Builder Punch to cut out the pumpkin.
  4. Color the pumpkin image with Light Pumpkin Pie and Dark Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends markers.
  5. Stamp the sentiment from the Harvest Hellos stamp set with Tuxedo Black Memento ink in the top right corner of the card front.
  6. Determine the placement of the pumpkin and then stamp the tendril with Pear Pizzazz ink.
  7. Use the Apple Builder Punch to cut out a stem from Pear Pizzazz card stock, then adhere the stem to the front panel with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
