Stampin’ Up! Free As A Bird Thanks for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  Please be sure to visit everyone’s blog to see the great projects they are sharing with you.  My card features a Sneak Peek of the Free As A Bird stamp set and the Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper – both from the new 2019-20 Annual Catalog – available for ordering on June 4th.  We are all working with a sketch challenge this week.  Here’s my card:

And here is the sketch we are using:

I love birds AND I love flowers so the Bird Ballad Suite is definitely on my favorites list of products in the new 2019-20 Annual Catalog.  Cute birds, sweet flowers, sentiments about friendship, great patterns of designer series paper for layering and fussy-cutting, trinkets, lace, laser-cut cards and label dies. Such an awesome collection of products and so easy to order with one item number (#152190) for all this goodness!

To begin, adhere a panel of Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper to the front of the Mossy Meadow Card stock base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Adhere a second, smaller panel of Bird Ballad DSP to the front, again using Liquid Glue.

Use your Paper Snips Scissors to fussy-cut an image of a bird on a branch with flowers from a panel of Bird Ballad DSP.  Cut a circle of Whisper White card stock using a die from the Stitched Shapes Framelits die set.  Use Liquid Glue to adhere the bird image to the circle to create your art piece.

Stamp the sentiment from the Free As A Bird stamp set on a strip of Whisper White card stock, to the right of center.  Trim the banner ends using Paper Snips.  Then adhere the banner to the art piece with Liquid Glue.  Fussy-cut a flower image from the Bird Ballad DSP and adhere to the left side of the banner with Glue.  Adhere the art piece to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Then add some Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the art piece and card front for a little bit of sparkle.

Use Tuxedo Black Memento ink to stamp the sentiment from the Free As A Bird stamp set in the center of a panel of Whisper White card stock.  Fussy-cut one more floral image from a panel of Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper and adhere to the inside panel in the lower left corner using Liquid Glue.  Use Glue to adhere the completed panel to the inside of the card base.
