Stampin’ Up! Pop of Petals Thanks for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  Please be sure to visit everyone’s blog to see the great projects they are sharing with you.  My card features the Pop of Petals Bundle, All Things Thanks stamp set and Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper.  We are all working with a color challenge this week.  Here’s my card:

And here are the colors we are using:

I am also playing along with the Paper Players Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge: PP435

I used the elements listed in the right hand column.  Fun!

To begin, use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere a Grapefruit Grove panel of Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper to a panel of Basic Black card stock.  Then adhere the layer to the front of the Lemon Lime Twist card base with Liquid Glue.

Use Jet Black StazOn ink to stamp the sentiment from the All Things Thanks stamp set on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  Cut it out with a die from the Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies.  Adhere the sentiment panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Use Grapefruit Grove ink to stamp the flower image from the Pop of Petals stamp set on a panel of Daffodil Delight card stock six times.  Use the Four-Petal Flower Punch to cut out the flower images.  Five will be used on the card front, one will be used on the inside panel.

Use Lemon Lime Twist ink to stamp the leaf image from the Pop of Petals stamp set six times on Whisper White card stock.  Use Paper Snips to fussy-cut the leaves.  It’s ok to cut the stems off because the leaves are all tucked under the flowers.  Layer the flowers and leaves as shown, using Liquid Glue and Dimensionals as needed to adhere them to the sentiment panel and card front.  Embellish with a few large Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

Use Lemon Lime Twist ink to stamp the leaf image two times in the upper left corner of a panel of Whisper White card stock.  Adhere the panel to a Basic Black card stock mat and then adhere the layer to the inside of the card with Liquid Glue.  Use Glue to adhere the remaining flower to the inside panel over the stamped images of the leaves.
