Stampin’ Up! Berry First Frost for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!  Please be sure to visit everyone’s blog to see the great projects they are sharing with you today.  My card features the First Frost stamp set and the coordinating Frosted Bouquet Framelits Dies.  We are all working with a color challenge this week.  Here’s my card:

And here are the colors we are using:

The First Frost Stamp and Die bundle was introduced in the Holiday catalog, but it has carried over and it’s still available.  That makes me very happy.

Use Berry Burst ink to stamp the sentiment in the bottom right corner of a panel of Whisper White card stock.  Tie a double knot with some Berry Burst 3/8″ Metallic Edged Ribbon and wrap it across the panel, securing ends on the back with tape.  Then adhere the panel to an Old Olive card stock mat with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Use Berry Burst ink to stamp the flower images on Whisper White card stock and cut out with the coordinating dies.  Use the Frosted Bouquet Framelits dies to cut out two branches from Old Olive card stock and two sprays from Crushed Curry card stock.

Play with an arrangement until you achieve the look you want, then adhere to the front panel.  I cut one of the branches in half.  The branches and sprays are adhered with Glue; the flowers are adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Use Liquid Glue to adhere the completed panel to the front of the Berry Burst card base.  Embellish with a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

Two more stamped and die cut flowers are adhered to the Whisper White inside panel after it is stamped with the sentiment.  The panel is adhered to an Old Olive mat before using Liquid Glue to adhere to the inside of the card.
