Welcome to Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop! This month our theme is “Celebrate Spring”. My card celebrates Spring with a cute little bunny from A Good Day stamp set, All My Love Designer Series Paper, the Classic Label punch and some additional stamps and dies from the Forever Lovely Bundle. My layout is based on the sketch challenge from Inspire.Create.Challenge 038
I had fun combining components from different sets and suites to create today’s card to celebrate Spring. The leafy branch image from the Forever Lovely stamp set was stamped randomly on a panel of Soft Sea Foam card stock with Soft Sea Foam ink before adhering it to the Flirty Flamingo card base. The floral print designer series paper panel from the All My Love collection is adhered to a Whisper White mat before adhering to the Soft Sea Foam panel.
Use Crumb Cake ink to stamp the bunny image from A Good Day stamp set on a panel of Whisper White card stock as well as on a sticky note. Use Paper Snips to cut out the bunny on the sticky note to create a mask. Use a sponge dauber to apply a light shading above the bunny with Balmy Blue ink. Leave the mask in place and use Soft Sea Foam ink to stamp the grass image from the Enjoy Life stamp set beneath the bunny. Then remove the mask and color the bunny with Crumb Cake and Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends markers.
Cut out the bunny image with a circle die from the Layering Circle Framelits Dies. Cut a frame from Whisper White card stock using a plain circle and scalloped circle together and adhere to the art piece with Liquid Glue. Use Flirty Flamingo ink to stamp the sentiment on a panel of Whisper White and cut out with the Classic Label punch. Die cut three leafy branches from Soft Sea Foam card stock and the little flowers from Flirty Flamingo card stock with dies from the Lovely Flowers Edgelits Dies. Adhere the label to the art piece, followed by the leafy branches and then the layered flowers. Add a couple Pearls as shown
Stamp a few more leafy branches on the Soft Sea Foam card stock strip with Soft Sea Foam ink before adhering to a panel of Whisper White card stock. Add the panel to the inside of the card base. Ready to send.
