Stampin’ Up! Wishing You Well Thank You for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!  Please be sure to visit everyone’s blog to see the great projects they are sharing with you today.  My card features the Wishing You Well stamp set, Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies and the 2018-2020 In Color 6×6 Designer Series Paper.  We are working with a color challenge this week.  Here’s my card:

And here are the colors we are using:

These happy colors are great for a Thank You card.  The Wishing You Well stamp set has a nice spray of greenery and some pretty little flowers that you can stamp in whatever color you choose – perfect!  I love the Navy & White gingham check ribbon – to make it a little bit country – and the dot pattern of the DSP makes it bright and bubbly.

Score a panel of Night of Navy card stock twice to create the base for the Z-fold card.  Use Call Me Clover ink to stamp the greenery image on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  The flowers are stamped with Lovely Lipstick ink.  Cut the stamped image out with a Stitched Rectangle Die.  Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the stamped panel to a mat cut from Lovely Lipstick card stock.

Wrap a length of Night of Navy Gingham Ribbon around the layer and secure the ends to the back side with tape.  Use Liquid Glue to adhere to a Night of Navy mat cut with the Stitched Rectangle Dies. Tie a bow and adhere to the card front with Glue Dots.

Adhere a panel of Lovely Lipstick Designer Series Paper to the front of the Night of Navy card base with Liquid Glue.  Then center the art piece over the fold and adhere with Liquid Glue.

Adhere a strip of the DSP along the right edge of a panel of Whisper White card stock before adhering it to the inside of the card base with Liquid Glue.  Use Lovely Lipstick ink to stamp the sentiment from the Vertical Greetings stamp set along the right side so it shows when the card is closed.  Plenty of room inside for your handwritten note.
