Welcome to Simply Stampin’ Sunday – my post of Clean And Simple projects that can be made in minutes using Stampin’ Up! products. This week’s card features the Well Written Framelits Dies and the All My Love Designer Series Paper from the Occasions Catalog. And it has NO stamping, so that’s a bit different…
My card layout today is based on Freshly Made Sketches 373
The diagonal accent stripes are super simple and easy to add using the Pick A Pattern Washi Tape on a panel of Whisper White card stock.
Cut the words from Lovely Lipstick card stock with the Well Written Framelits Dies. The hearts are fussy-cut from All My Love Designer Series Paper.
Add a larger fussy-cut heart to the inside panel.
Here are the Simple Steps to make this card:
- Cut a 4-1/4″ x 11″ panel of Lovely Lipstick card stock, score at 5-1/2″ and fold in half for card base.
- Adhere 3 strips of Pick A Pattern Washi tape diagonally across a 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″ panel of Whisper White card stock – wrapping ends around to adhere on the back side.
- Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a 4″ x 5-1/4″ mat of Basic Black card stock.
- Adhere the layer to the card front with Liquid Glue.
- Cut a panel of Basic Black card stock with a die from the Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies – size is approx 1-5/8″ x 3-5/8″.
- Adhere the rectangle to the card front with Liquid Glue.
- Die cut the words “love” and “you” from Lovely Lipstick card stock using the Well Written Framelits Dies.
- Use Paper Snips to fussy-cut two small hearts from the All My Love DSP. Adhere the hearts to a scrap of Lovely Lipstick card stock.
- Then fussy-cut the card stock leaving a narrow border around each heart.
- Use small dabs of Liquid Glue to adhere the words and one heart to the Basic Black rectangle. Set them on a slight angle to align with the Washi tape.
- Adhere the second heart to the lower right corner of the card front slightly angled in the opposite direction.
- Use Paper Snips to fussy-cut a large heart from the All My Love DSP and adhere to the center of a 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″ panel of Whisper White card stock with Liquid Glue.
- Adhere the Whisper White panel to a 4″ x 5-1/4″ mat of Basic Black card stock before adhering the layer to the inside of the card base with Liquid Glue.
