Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Bouquet Wedding Day for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!  Please be sure to visit everyone’s blog to see the great projects they are sharing with you today.  I used the new Beautifully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper and the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set for today’s card.  We are working with a color challenge this week.  Here’s my card:

And here are the colors we are using:

The new Beautifully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper is Petal Pink on one side and White on the other side.  It has one design that’s a full 12 x 12 sheet, and another design that has 6 different card fronts as well as borders and elements to use as accents.  So many possibilities!

To begin, choose the card front design you want to use, trim it and use small dabs of Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere it to the front of a Fresh Fig card base.  Use Fresh Fig ink to stamp the sentiment from the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  Add the stitch marks around the stamped image with a die from the Needlepoint Elements framelits, then cut it out with the Pretty Label Punch.  Adhere the label to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Die cut a couple leafy branches from Mossy Meadow card stock using the Wonderful Floral framelits dies.  Use the spray of small leaves die from the same set to cut a couple branches from Fresh Fig card stock and Vellum card stock.  Tuck these elements under the label and adhere with Glue Dots and Liquid Glue.  Add a couple Frosted Flower Embellishments finished off with a couple colored pearls from the Artisan Pearls collection to the label.  Complete the front with a bow tied with Petal Pink/Whisper White 5/8″ ribbon adhered with a Glue Dot.

Stamp the sentiment from the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set with Fresh Fig ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  Adhere to a Petal Pink card stock mat before adhering to the interior of the card base with Liquid Glue.  Fussy-cut an image from the Floral Romance Specialty DSP and adhere to the card interior with a Glue Dot.
