Stampin’ Up! Forever Lovely for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!  Please be sure to visit everyone’s blog to see the great projects they are sharing with you today.  I used the new All My Love Designer Series Paper and the Forever Lovely stamp set for today’s card.  We are working with a color challenge this week.  Here’s my card:

And here are the colors we are using:

I love floral prints, and this one is no exception.  Plus, the colors were perfect for the challenge, win-win!

Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere a panel of the All My Love DSP to a panel of Soft Sea Foam card stock with the top edges aligned and borders revealed on both sides and the bottom.  Then use Liquid Glue to adhere the layer to the front of the Whisper White Thick card base in the same manner – top edges aligned.

Adhere the trio of leafy branches die cut from Soft Sea Foam card stock with the Well Written Framelits dies to the card front using tiny dabs of glue.  Then wrap a length of the Lovely Lipstick 1/2″ stitched edge ribbon around the card front and secure the ends with tape where they will be covered by the oval label.  Slip a shorter length of ribbon under the left side, tie a knot and trim the ends to create a “faux bow”.

Use Lovely Lipstick ink to stamp the sentiment from the Forever Lovely stamp set on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  Use an oval die from the Stitched Shapes Framelits to cut it out.  Then use Liquid Glue to adhere it to a Flirty Flamingo scalloped oval mat cut with the Layering Ovals Framelits dies.  Embellish the label with a couple Soft Sea Foam branches cut with the Lovely Flowers Edgelits dies and Lovely Lipstick flowers from the Well Written Framelits.  Adhere the label to the card front with Dimensionals and finish off with a couple Pearls.

Adhere a couple die cut branches to a panel of Whisper White card stock.  Then adhere the panel to a Soft Sea Foam mat with the top edges aligned before adhering to the inside of the card with Liquid Glue.
