Stampin’ Up! Wonderful Romance Best Thing for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop

Welcome to Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop!  This month our theme is “Love”.  My card celebrates the people that are the Best Thing in our lives and features the Floral Romance Specialty Designer Series Paper and the Wonderful Romance Bundle.  Please take time to stop by to visit each blog to see what the participating Team members are sharing with you today.

This vellum paper with the floral design is one of my favorites in the 2019 Occasions catalog.  I felt it would be perfect for this month’s Team Hop theme – because I LOVE it!

Cut a panel of Whisper White card stock the same size as the panel of floral printed vellum and adhere them with SNAIL only in the area that will be covered by the sentiment label. Then use SNAIL to adhere the the layer to a Petal Pink card stock mat.  Adhere the matted layer to the Mossy Meadow card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Use Crumb Cake ink to stamp the sentiment on a panel of Shimmery White card stock.  Use the label die in the Wonderful Floral Framelits die set to cut it out.  Weave Old Olive Linen Thread through the border three times, alternating the under and over to achieve the look as shown.

Adhere strips of Crumb Cake card stock and Fresh Fig card stock to the card front with Glue Dots.  Then adhere the sentiment piece over the strips on the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Add a Fresh Fig Frosted Flower and a tripled looped bow to the sentiment label.  Finish the card front with some Petal Pink Artisan Pearls – one in the center of the Frosted Flower and three more on the vellum panel.

Use Crumb Cake ink stamped off twice to add the leafy branch from the Wonderful Romance stamp set to the upper left and lower right corners on a panel of Shimmery White card stock.  Then adhere to a Petal Pink card stock mat before adhering to the inside of the card.
