Stampin’ Up! First Frost Winter Birthday for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!  Please be sure to visit everyone’s blog to see the great projects they are sharing with you today.  I used the Frosted Floral Specialty Designer Series Paper and the First Frost Bundle for today’s card.  We are working with a color challenge this week.  Here’s my card:

And here are the colors we are using:

The stamps, dies and DSP I am featuring today are probably my favorites from the 2018 Holiday Catalog.  The First Frost stamp set and coordinating Frosted Bouquet dies are carrying over, but the special 10% off Bundle price is ending on January 2nd.  The Frosted Floral Specialty Designer Series Paper is shimmery and oh, so pretty!  It will be retiring in just a few days, so if it’s something you don’t have yet, better not wait any longer… just sayin’.

To begin, use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere a panel of Frosted Floral Specialty Designer Series Paper to a Whisper White card stock mat.  Adhere the layer to the front of the Blackberry Bliss card stock base with Liquid Glue.  Adhere a second panel of the Designer Series Paper to a Blackberry Bliss card stock mat and adhere the layer on an angle to the card front with Glue.

Use Gray Granite ink to stamp the branches of berries image on a panel of Whisper White card stock multiple times.  Stamp a couple times before reinking the stamp.  Adhere the stamped panel to a mat of Gray Granite card stock with Glue.

On a separate panel of Whisper White card stock, stamp the leafy branch three times with Pear Pizzazz ink and each of the blooms a few times with Blackberry Bliss ink.  Use the dies to cut them out.  Also cut the branch of berries a couple time from a panel of Blackberry Bliss card stock.  Arrange the die cut branches and blooms and adhere to the stamped panel with Liquid Glue.  Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the largest bloom.

Tie a single knot in a length of Pear Pizzazz Shimmer Ribbon.  Wrap the ends to the back of the art piece and adhere with tape.  Use Blackberry Bliss ink to stamp the sentiment from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set.  Then adhere the art piece to the card front with Dimensionals.  Embellish with a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels to add a bit of sparkle.

Stamp the leafy branch a few times on a panel of Whisper White card stock before adhering it to the inside of the card with Liquid Glue.  Add a few die cut blooms to complete.  It’s ready for your hand-written sentiment.
