Stampin’ Up! Christmas Sampler 2018

Wishing you and yours Peace & Joy this season and happiness and health in the New Year.

Today I’m sharing the 2018 Christmas Sampler we made at our most recent Inky Fingers Krew team meeting.  I was inspired by the Hometown Christmas Framed Art Sampler made by Audra Monk – the crafty yogi.  It’s very closely based on her beautiful sampler, with a few changes.

This sampler showcases many of the bundles in the soon to be retired 2018 Holiday Catalog.  If you live in the Atlanta area, I will offer classes for this project in January – please contact me if you’re interested.  A few products are already sold out – maybe you were lucky enough to get them – others are for sale HERE, while supplies last.  Some are carrying over and others are current in the Annual Catalog and available.  Here’s what I used:

The Designer Series Paper in the background of each section is from the Festive Farmhouse collection.  The sled  and large bow are from the Alpine Adventure stamp set and coordinating Alpine Sports Thinlits dies.  Packages are Festive Farmhouse DSP.  Holly is from the Peaceful Poinsettia stamp set and coordinating Detailed Poinsettia Thinlits dies.  Small bows are 1/2 of a small flower from the Detailed Deer Thinlits Dies.

The wreath is a Boxwood Wreath embellished with flowers from the Detailed Deer Thinlits dies, gold metallic pearls and a bow of Festive Farmhouse Cotton Twine.  The deer is from the Dashing Deer stamp set and coordinating Detailed Deer Thinlits dies.  The Gold Foil bow cut with Alpine Sports Thinlits Dies, pine boughs are cut with the Pretty Pines Thinlits dies.

The beautiful poinsettia is from Peaceful Poinsettia stamp set and coordinating Detailed Poinsettia Thinlits dies.  The bloom is stamped three times and fussy-cut to create layers and embellished with gold Metallic Pearls.  The corner flourishes are from the same Detailed Poinsettia Dies.

The Christmas tree is from the Winter Woods stamp set and coordinating In the Woods Framelits dies.  It’s embellished with Pearl Basic Jewels, Red Rhinestone Jewels, Gold Metallic Pearls and a Gold Foil star.  The pot is textured with the Corrugated Embossing Folder, embellished with a bow from the Alpine Sports Thinlits Dies.

The center focal piece is a stamp from the Christmas Traditions Punch Box, punched with the coordinating punch, embellished with Red Rhinestone Jewels.  The mistletoe is made with the Sprig Punch, embellished with Pearl Basic Jewels.  The ribbon is 5/8″ Striped Burlap Trim.  The snowflakes are cut with the Blizzard Thinlits Dies.

I hope you’ve enjoyed viewing this Christmas Sampler 2018 as much as I enjoyed sharing it.  Scroll down for a complete list of products used to create this project.
