Stampin’ Up Well Written Sneak Peek for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

It’s time again for our monthly Joint Blog Hop.  Be sure to stop by to check out what all the talented bloggers in this Hop have shared.  We have a sketch challenge AND a color challenge this week and can choose to participate in either one or both – I chose to go with just the sketch challenge this time.  Here is my card :

And here is the color challenge and the sketch challenge:

I’ve been wanting to play with the new Well Written Framelits Dies and share a card with you so you’d see how awesome they are, too.  I also used the new All My Love Designer Series Paper.  So pretty!   And it’s so easy to pull out colors from the DSP to use in my project since the card stock matches it perfectly.

Adhere a panel of All My Love DSP to a panel of Lovely Lipstick card stock using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then adhere the layer to a panel of Soft Sea Foam card stock with Liquid Glue.

Wrap a length of Braided Linen Trim across the layer along the top edge of the DSP and secure on the back side with tape.  Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the completed layer to the Whisper White Thick card base.

Cut the sentiment from Lovely Lipstick card stock and adhere to a Whisper White card stock circle cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies.  Cut a scalloped circled from Crumb Cake card stock for the mat.  Adhere the layers with Liquid Glue and mount on the card front with Dimensionals.

Use Paper Snips to cut various leaves, branches and blooms from the Designer Series Paper and adhere around the sentiment piece, sliding some beneath the edge of the circle and adding a couple to the circle itself.  Color a small Heart Epoxy Droplet with a Light Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends marker before adding it as an embellishment.

Adhere one large fussy-cut bloom from the DSP to the lower left corner on the inside of the card.
