Welcome to Simply Stampin’ Sunday – my post of Clean And Simple projects that can be made in minutes using Stampin’ Up! products. This week’s card features the Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper from the 2018 Holiday catalog and the Thank You Thinlits Die from the Annual Catalog.
My card design was inspired by CAS(E) this Sketch #301:
Look closely at the Sketch and you’ll see it was designed by Brian King – love his Clean and Simple style.
Went with a bit more masculine look for this card with him in mind. I added a bit of twinkle and bling, just because it’s for the Holidays, but no glitter. 🙂 The Suite Season Specialty Washi Tape has shiny silver foil accents, hard to capture in a photo.
The Thank You Thinlits Die cut sentiment is all that is needed to make a statement on the front of this card. Brush Clear Wink of Stella over the sentiment for some twinkle and add a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels on the front for some bling.
Repeat the Washi Tape accents on the corners of the Whisper White inside panel before adhering to the card base.
Here are the Simple Steps to make this card:
- Cut a 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ panel of Whisper White Thick card stock, score at 4-1/4″ and fold in half for card base.
- Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere a 3-3/4″ x 5″ panel of Festive Farmhouse DSP to a 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″ panel of Cherry Cobbler card stock.
- Wrap a length of Suite Season Specialty Washi Tape diagonally across the top left corner of the prepared layer, wrapping the excess to the back to adhere. Repeat on the bottom right corner of the prepared layer.
- Adhere the completed layer to the card front with Liquid Glue.
- Use the Thank You Thinlits Die to cut the sentiment from Cherry Cobbler card stock.
- Adhere the sentiment to the card front with small dabs of Liquid Glue.
- Brush Clear Wink of Stella over the sentiment to add some twinkle.
- Add a few Rhinestones for bling.
- Add Washi Tape to the corners of a 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″ panel of Whisper White card stock, in the same manner as the front layer.
- Use Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the card.
- Ready for your handwritten, heartfelt Thank You note.
