Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Christmas for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!  Please be sure to visit everyone’s blog to see the great projects they are sharing with you today.  I used Broadway Bound Specialty DSP and All Is Bright DSP plus the Celebrate You Thinlits Dies for today’s card.  We are working with a color challenge this week.  Here’s my card:

And here are the colors we are using:

My card design was inspired by CAS(E) this Sketch #300:

Today’s card is quick and easy – because time is running out!  I can’t believe it’s less than two weeks until Christmas.  Love how the Gold Foil Specialty DSP adds sparkle to this card.

Use SNAIL to adhere a panel of Broadway Bound Specialty Designer Series Paper to the front of a Basic Black card base.  Then center a panel of All is Bright DSP over the top of that and adhere with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Cut a strip of Basic Black card stock and add texture to it with the Subtle embossing folder.  The Gold Foil sentiment is cut with the Celebrate You Thinlits Dies and adhered to the strip with dabs of Liquid Glue.  Adhere the completed strip to the card front with Glue and embellish with a few Rhinestones and Metallic Gold Pearls.

Use Jet Black StazOn ink to stamp the sentiment from the First Frost stamp set on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  Add a strip of Broadway Bound Specialty DSP along each edge of the card stock and then adhere to the inside of the card with Liquid Glue.  Ready to send it on it’s way!
