Welcome to Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop!  This month our theme is “Celebrate”.  I chose to make a card to Celebrate YOU!  Please take time to stop by to visit each blog to see what the participating Team members are sharing with you today.

My card features Sneak Peeks of a few new products from the 2019 Occasions catalog – the All My Love Designer Series Paper, the Needlepoint Elements Framelits Dies and the Lace Dynamic Textured Embossing Folder.  I’m especially excited about the Lace Embossing Folder.  Beautiful, but difficult to capture in photos.

To begin, add texture to a panel of Whisper White card stock with the new Lace Dynamic Textured Embossing Folder.  Adhere to the front of the card base with SNAIL. (Hint: emboss an oversized panel and trim it down to size afterwards, cutting on all four sides to “square it up”.  Adhere to the front of the Whisper White Thick card base with SNAIL.

Use Lovely Lipstick ink to stamp the sentiment from the Perennial Birthday stamp set on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  Use the die from the new Needlepoint Elements Framelits Dies to add the stitching around the sentiment, then use the Pretty Label Punch to cut it out.  Punch a second label from Lovely Lipstick card stock.  Cut it in half horizontally, then adhere each half to the back of the sentiment piece with Liquid Glue with a bit of color showing along the top and bottom edges, as a mat.

Adhere a panel of the new All My Love Designer Series Paper to a Lovely Lipstick card stock mat, which is then adhered to a panel of Soft Seafoam card stock as a second mat.  Wrap the layers with Whisper White Baker’s Twine and adhere the ends on the back side with tape.  Adhere to the card front with Liquid Glue.  Then adhere the sentiment piece with Dimensionals and add a triple loop bow adhered with a Glue Dot.

Use Lovely Lipstick ink to stamp the sentiment from the Perennial Birthday stamp set on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  Adhere the stamped panel to a Lovely Lipstick card stock mat before adhering to the inside of the card using Liquid Glue for all.  Whatever your special day may be – let’s Celebrate You!
