Stampin’ Up! Christmas Treat Holders for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop

Welcome to Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop!  This month our theme is “Merry Christmas” or “Happy Holidays”.  I was inspired to create a collection of Christmas treat holders after receiving some sweet treats from team members at OnStage in Orlando last week.  Be sure to check out each blog to see what we’ve been up to.

I used the Under the Mistletoe Designer Series Paper for this assortment of treat holders.  I hope you like them!

This treat holder is made with a 4″ x 7″ panel of DSP.  The snowman is from the Spirited Snowmen stamp set, stamped in Shaded Spruce ink and colored with Stampin’ Blends markers.  Use the Tag Topper Scalloped Punch and the Trio Punch to create the tag.  Use Real Red 1/8″ Solid Ribbon to attach the label to the triangular shaped box.

This treat holder is made with a 6″ x 6″ square of DSP.  With a few folds it’s transformed into this neat pocket style holder.  Perfect for a little treat.  Use Garden Green & White Baker’s Twine for a triple-looped bow and adhere with a glue dot.

Use the envelope punch board to punch and score a 5″ x 5″ square of DSP to make this envelope style treat holder.  The sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set and punched out with the Classic Label Punch.  The flowers are die cuts from the Detailed Deer Thinlits dies and embellished with Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels.  Adhere the label at each end with a glue dot so the flap can tuck under and stay closed.

This box is constructed from Gray Granite card stock, topped with a die cut square of DSP.  The deer is die cut from Sparkle Gimmer Paper and adhered to a die cut circle of Old Olive card stock.  Cut a length of Pear Pizzazz Shimmer Ribbon and adhere to the back of the art piece with glue dots.  Adhere the art piece to the box with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

And this is the classic nugget-style chocolate pieces wrapped with 1″ x 3″ strips of DSP and slipped into a 2″ x 8″ clear cellophane bag and tied with a length of Real Red 1/8″ Solid Ribbon.  Always a hit for the recipient.  Have fun creating!
