Welcome back to another Inkin’ Krew team blog hop! Our very talented team is doing a blog hop featuring Stampin’ Up! products. Our theme this month is “Giving Thanks”. My card features the Country Lane Designer Series Paper and the Many Blessings stamp set from the Holiday catalog. Here is what I created:

The coordinating patterns in the Country Lane DSP are so much fun to create with, loved playing with them for this sketch. Begin by cutting the strips in graduating widths and lengths, following the paper cut dimensions listed at the bottom of this post. The woodgrain print DSP is 3/4″ wide, Cajun Craze card stock is 1″ wide, cotton boll print DSP is 1-1/2″ wide and the pumpkin trellis print DSP is 2″ wide. Use the Banner Triple Punch to flag the ends of each strip.
Use the Pinewood Planks embossing folder to add texture to a panel of Whisper White card stock. Adhere the banners even with the top edge of the embossed panel, layering as you work, applying Multipurpose Liquid Glue along the top 1/2″ only, so the banner ends are free. Then adhere the completed piece to a panel of Cajun Craze card stock. Wrap a length of Braided Linen Trim around the top edge, tie a double knot, trim the ends and fray them a bit. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the completed layer to the front of an Early Espresso card base.
Use Early Espresso ink to stamp the sentiment from the Many Blessings stamp set on a panel of Whisper White card stock. Use the punch from the Darling Label Punch Box set to cut out it out. Cut a square from Cajun Craze card stock with the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies to mat the sentiment. After adhering with Glue, add four Mint Macaron colored Faceted Dots to the corners. Adhere the sentiment piece to the card front with Dimensionals.
Adhere a 1/2″ wide strip of DSP along the edge of a panel of Whisper White card stock which is then adhered to a panel of Cajun Craze card stock. Then adhere the completed layer to the inside of the card with Glue. Ready to go!
