Stampin’ Up! Halloween Frights for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

It’s time again for our monthly Joint Blog Hop.  Be sure to stop by to check out what all the talented bloggers in this Hop have shared.  We have a sketch challenge AND a color challenge this week and can choose to participate in either one or both – I chose both!  Here is my card for this week:

Here are the sketch and color challenges for this week:

My September 2018 Paper Pumpkin – called Frights & Delights – arrived just in time for me to use a couple of the stamps on this card.  How fun!

To make this card, adhere a panel of Mango Melody card stock to a Basic Black card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Use Granny Apple Green, Mango Melody and Tuxedo Black ink to stamp some spiders from the September 2018 Paper Pumpkin kit randomly on a panel of Designer Series Paper (white with tiny black dots) from the Tropical Escape collection.  Then adhere the stamped panel to a Basic Black card stock mat.

Cut a strip of Designer Series Paper from the Toil & Trouble collection (green with larger white dots) and stamp the sentiment and one spider from the Paper Pumpkin kit on the strip with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  Adhere the strip to a mat of Basic Black card stock.

Use Liquid Glue to adhere the stamped panel to the card front.  Then use Glue to adhere the stamped strip to across the upper portion of the card front. Fussy-cut a coordinating witch’s hat from the Toil & Trouble DSP collection and adhere to the strip to complete.

For the inside liner, stamp a few spiders with Tuxedo Black ink along the lower edge of a panel of Mango Melody card stock, then adhere to the inside of the card with Liquid Glue.
