Stampin’ Up! Country Home Sneak Peek for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop

Welcome back to another Inkin’ Krew team blog hop!  Our very talented team is doing a blog hop featuring Stampin’ Up! products.  Our theme this month is “Fall Frenzy”.  My card is a Sneak Peek of a stamp set from the 2018 Holiday Catalog called Country Home.  It will be available for order September 5th.  Here is what I created:

The Country Home stamp set has beautiful images of Fall greenery and a great selection of sentiments, as well.  It’s a must-have for your collection of Fall and Thanksgiving stamps.  So many great options.

A panel of Wood Textures DSP adhered to an Early Espresso card base is the perfect background to showcase the art piece on this card.  The images are stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock.

I used the following Stampin’ Blends to color the images: Crumb Cake Light, Crumb Cake Dark and Bronze for the cattails, Rich Razzleberry Light for the berries, Old Olive Dark for the small greenery sprays, Old Olive Light, Old Olive Dark and Rich Razzleberry Light for the artichoke, Old Olive Light, Old Olive Dark, Calypso Coral Light and Calypso Coral Dark for the ivy-like leaves, Night of Navy Light, Night of Navy Dark and the Color Lifter for the pitcher/coffee pot.

After the image is colored, use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere it to a panel of Early Espresso card stock.  Wrap the layer twice with Linen Thread and use tape to adhere the ends on the back side.  Adhere the art piece to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Tie a triple-loop bow with Linen Thread and adhere it with a rolled up Glue Dot

Adhere a panel of Very Vanilla card stock to the interior of the card using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. (Not shown, you’ll have to trust me on this!)

Love your picture (pitcher). It looks so real. You did a great job on making it look so real. You will have to teach me sometime (in your spare time). The woodgrain panel makes it look like a picture framed and ready to hang.

  10. Awesome! The coloring is perfect.
