Welcome to Simply Stampin’ Sunday – my weekly post of Clean And Simple projects that can be made in minutes using Stampin’ Up! products. This week’s project features the Varied Vases stamp set and coordinating Vases Builder punch.
I had fun using my Stamparatus last weekend to show how simple stamping can be – by inking and stamping 4 stamps at once! You don’t have to worry about stamping them individually and lining them up. Once you place your stamps on the panel of the card stock where you want them, and place the card stock panel on the Stamparatus, you can “pick the stamps up” on the plate by closing it. The stamps cling to the plate. Make any minor adjustments, if needed, and ink them up and stamp them all at once!
The vases are punched with the Vases Builder Punch from the Wood Textures DSP and adhered with Mini Dimensionals. The blooms are colored with Stampin’ Blends, but they could also be left uncolored.
Adhere the panel to the card base. Use a length of Linen Thread to wrap around the card front and finish with a bow. All set!
Here are the Simple Steps to make this project:
- Cut a 4-1/4″ x 11″ panel of Melon Mambo card stock, score at 5-1/2″ and fold for card base.
- Cut a 4″ x 5-1/4″ panel of Whisper White card stock.
- Arrange the uninked stamps of the three blooms and the sentiment from the Varied Vases stamp set on the Whisper White panel where you want them.
- Place the Whisper White panel on the Stamparatus and close the plate to “pick up” the stamps. Note: You can also pick up the stamps on a large size “F” clear block.
- Check alignment of the stamps and make adjustments if necessary.
- Ink all the stamps at once with a Memento Tuxedo Black ink pad and stamp as one on the Whisper White panel.
- Color the blooms with Cherry Cobbler Light and Daffodil Delight Dark Stampin’ Blends markers, if you choose.
- Adhere the panel to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
- Use the Vases Builder Punch to punch vases from a panel of Wood Textures Designer Series Paper.
- Adhere the vases to the card front with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Wrap a length of Linen Thread around the card front three times. Tie a knot on the front side and trim the ends short.
- Tie a triple loop bow with Linen Thread and use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere it over the knot.
