Stampin’ Up! Lucky Friend for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the new Love What You Do stamp set and the new Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper from the 2018-19 Annual Catalog to create my card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop today.  We have a sketch challenge this week and this is what I made for it:

Here is the sketch that we’re using this week:

Love the way Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Papers all have a list of the coordinating colors, so easy to match up the cardstock, ink and embellishments.  To begin, stamp the leaf image from the Love What You Do stamp set with Pear Pizzazz ink on a card base of Pear Pizzazz card stock.

Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere a panel of Share What You Love Designer Series Paper to a panel of Rich Razzleberry card stock.  Adhere this layered piece to the card base with Liquid Glue.  Adhere a second panel of DSP to a panel of Rich Razzleberry card stock and mount it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Stamp the sentiment from the Love What You Do stamp set on a panel of Whisper White card stock with Rich Razzleberry ink.

Use an oval die from the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies to cut it out.  Cut a scalloped oval mat from Rich Razzleberry card stock with the Layering Oval Framelits and adhere the sentiment panel to it with Liquid Glue.  Use Liquid Glue to adhere the sentiment layer to the card front.  Use Paper Snips to fussy-cut a couple images from the DSP to embellish the sentiment panel.  Adhere with small dabs of Liquid Glue.  Tie a triple loop bow with Linen Thread and adhere.

Stamp the branch image with StazOn ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  Use a blender pen to color the blooms with Rich Razzleberry ink in a manner to mimic the watercolored look of the Designer Series Paper.  Adhere the inside panel to a Rich Razzleberry card stock mat and then adhere the layer to the inside of the card with Liquid Glue.  Then be sure to share your card with a friend!
