We made today’s card at the Inky Fingers Krew team meeting yesterday. I followed the instructions LeeAnn Greff shared on one of her YouTube videos to create this card with a Double Flap Fold. The team loved how it turned out!
To begin, use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere a panel of Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper to a mat of Blackberry Bliss card stock. Score a 4″ x 8-1/2″ panel of Whisper White Thick card stock at 5-1/4″ and fold. With the fold to the right, dry-fit the decorative layer centered on the white layer to determine placement. Apply glue to the right-hand side of the layer and adhere.
Score the strip of Blackberry Bliss card stock at 1″ and fold. Use the decorative lattice die from the Petals & More Thinlits Die Set to cut a strip of Whisper White card stock. Adhere the lattice piece to the Blackberry Bliss strip with Liquid Glue. Trim the end of the strip with the Pretty Label Punch by slipping the end of the strip into the punch from the back side.
Stamp the sentiment on a panel of Whisper White card stock with Rich Razzleberry ink. Punch out the sentiment with the 1-3/4″ Circle Punch. Cut a mat from Blackberry Bliss card stock with a 2″ Circle Punch. Glue the sentiment piece to the mat with Liquid Glue. Adhere the sentiment layer to the strip with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Wrap the folded end of the strip behind the left side of the Whisper White layer and adhere with Liquid Glue. Then adhere the completed Whisper White panel to the Blackberry Bliss card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Use the Bone Folder along the folded edges to create a tight crease. Stamp the butterfly image from the Painted Glass stamp set on a panel of Whisper White card stock with Rich Razzleberry ink. Use the coordinating die from the Stained Glass Thinlits set to cut out the butterfly image. Adhere the butterfly to the card front with Liquid Glue. Tie a triple loop bow with Linen Thread and adhere to the card front with a Glue Dot.
