Stampin’ Up! Love What You Do Sneak Peek for the Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop

Welcome back to another Inkin’ Krew team blog hop!  Our very talented team is doing a blog hop featuring Stampin’ Up! products.  This month our theme is a “Feminine” card.  My card features Sneak Peeks of a number of NEW products from the upcoming 2018-19 Annual Catalog – available June 1st.  Here is the card I created:

This card is a Sneak Peek of the Love What You Do stamp set, a panel of Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper and some new Blends colors – Lovely Lipstick Light and Pineapple Punch Dark.  Mint Macaron is a returning color- oh, yeah!

I stamped the floral image twice with Tuxedo Black Memento ink on panels of Whisper White card stock.  I colored the flowers on one of the panels with the new Blends markers.  I inked the background stamp with Mint Macaron ink and stamped it off once before stamping it again over the second floral image.

Then I fussy-cut the colored blooms with Paper Snips and used Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere them to the panel with the stamped background.  I used the Layering Oval Framelits to cut out the art piece.  I also cut a scalloped oval mat from a Silver Foil sheet and a large oval Whisper White mat.  I used Liquid Glue to adhere the layers together.  Then I wrapped a length of Silver Baker’s Twine around the art piece three time and secured the ends on the back with tape.  I tied a triple-loop bow and adhered it over the twine with a couple Mini Glue Dots.

The lattice layer is a panel cut from the Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper.  I adhered it to a panel of Mint Macaron card stock with Liquid Glue.  This layer is adhered to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  The oval art piece is adhered to the lattice layer with Stampin’ Dimensionals, as well.

For the inside, I stamped the floral image with Mint Macaron ink in the center of a panel of Whisper White card stock after stamping off once.  Then I stamped the sentiment from the Love What You Do stamp set with Tuxedo Black Memento ink.  I used Liquid Glue to adhere the stamped panel to a Mint Macaron card stock mat and adhered the completed layer to the card interior with glue.

I was lucky enough to attend OnStage here in the Atlanta area this past Saturday.  There were some wonderful live presentations of new products and then we made samples with some of the featured products.  More on that in another post…
