Today is World Autism Awareness Day and I’m very pleased to be invited to participate in this World Autism Awareness Day International Stampin’ Up! Blog Hop that was set up by Jenny Hall. Be sure to visit the other participants who have shared their work in support of this special cause and please consider making a donation to the Organization for Autism Research by clicking the link shared below.
I chose to use BLUE in my project to show my support for Autism Awareness. The card base is Marina Mist with a panel of Eastern Palace Specialty Designer Series Paper matted on a Gold Foil Sheet. The oval under the butterfly is Dapper Denim card stock with a scalloped Gold Foil Sheet mat and is mounted to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The butterfly from the Beautiful Day stamp set is gold embossed on Shimmery White card stock and colored using an Aqua Painter and inks in Night of Navy, Dapper Denim and Marina Mist. After it is fussy-cut, it is adhered directly to the oval with Liquid Glue under the center of the body only, allowing the wings to lift a bit – ready to take flight.
The sentiment from the Beautiful Day stamp set is Gold embossed on a strip of Marina Mist card stock. It is adhered to a narrow a strip of Gold Foil behind the top edge and a punched strip of Gold Foil behind the bottom edge, then mounted to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. A Gold Metallic Enamel Heart finishes it off with a bit of love.

Today is my One Year Blog-iversary. In my first post on April 2, 2017 I also participated in an Autism Awareness Blog Hop. My upline and friend Amy Koenders has a beautiful daughter with Autism, so this is near and dear to my heart. I ask you to please support this cause, as well.
This hop was set up to raise awareness and much needed funding for autism research. The latest statistics show that 1 in 68 children is affected by autism. You can help by donating any amount to the Organization for Autism Research by clicking the button below.
Thank you for visiting – now on with the Hop! You are at Sue Prather, next in line is Jesse Holton. Click on the next button below to visit Jesse:
