Stampin’ Up! Sweet Soirée Memories & More for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Sweet Soirée Memories & More Card Pack that is available as a free Sale-A-Bration selection to create my card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop today.  We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and this is what I made for it:

Here is the sketch that we’re using this week:

I truly love the Sweet Soiree Suite.  The coordinating Sweet Soiree Memories & More Card Pack offered during Sale-A-Bration is surely the icing on the cake!  This card features a few of the elements from the Card Pack.

I trimmed a couple of the 3″ x 4″ cards to 2″ wide and punched one end with the Triple Banner Punch.  After determining the placement of the banners, I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere them to a panel of Whisper White card stock which I had embossed with the Layered Leaves Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  I trimmed the overhanging ends of the banners even with the top of the white panel.  Then I adhered the white panel to a panel of Rich Razzleberry card stock.

Next, I cut a circle from Old Olive card stock slightly smaller than a small Silver Metallic Foil Doily using a die from the Layering Circles Framelits dies . I adhered the circle to the back of the doily with Liquid Glue.  Then I used my Paper Snips to fussy cut a floral image from one of the cards in the pack and adhered it to the silver doily with Liquid Glue.  I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the embellished doily to the card front panel.  The sentiment banner is also cut from a card in the pack.  It is adhered across the lower edge of the doily with Liquid Glue and a Dimensional is used under the end adhered to the card front.  The completed card front panel is adhered to the Old Olive card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a Glitter Enamel Dot to the flower and a triple looped bow made with Silver Baker’s Twine to the edge of the banner as the finishing touches.  Quick and easy!

I fussy cut another floral image from a card in the pack and adhered it to a panel of Whisper White card stock with Liquid Glue.  The white panel is then adhered to a panel of Rich Razzleberry card stock, which in turn is adhered to the interior of the card. Done!  So many options and possibilities offered in this FREE card pack – be sure you get one before the campaign ends next month.
