My card layout was inspired by CAS(E) this Sketch! #255

To begin, I used SNAIL to adhere a small print panel from the True Gentleman Designer Series Paper to a panel of Tranquil Tide card stock.  I then adhered a striped panel of True Gentleman Designer Series Paper to a panel of Night of Navy card stock with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to create an accent strip.  I adhered the accent strip to the front panel with Liquid Glue and adhered the completed front panel to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Truly Tailored stamp set on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock with Night of Navy ink.  I used Paper Snips to fussy-cut the sentiment along the stamped outline and then used Liquid Glue to adhere it to a panel of Night of Navy card stock I had punched with the hexagonal Tailored Tag punch.  I fussy-cut a bow tie from the True Gentleman DSP and used Liquid Glue to adhere it to the tag over the image of the comb.  The completed tag is adhered to the accent strip with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I threaded a length of Linen Thread through a faux wood button from the True Gentleman Button pack and tied a knot.  I then adhered the button to the accent strip with a Mini Glue Dot.

The sentiment inside the card is from the Truly Tailored stamp set, stamped on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock with Night of Navy ink.  I used SNAIL to adhere the stamped panel to a panel of Tranquil Tide card stock.  I cut a strip of True Gentleman DSP featuring bow ties to trim the interior panel and adhered it with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  To finish, I used SNAIL to adhere the completed panel to the inside of the card base.
