The new Sweet Soirée Suite has beautiful Specialty Designer Series Paper.  What makes it special?  Silver Foil.  Each sheet has handpainted designs with Silver Foil accents on one side and colorful printed images on the other side.  The Sweet Soiree Suite includes Silver Mini Gable Boxes.  They are 4″ x 2-1/2″ x 2-1/2″ – a perfect size – not too big, not too small, and food safe.  They are super easy to assemble, too.  Oh yes, and so fun to decorate.

Adhere a panel of Suite Soiree Specialty DSP to a panel of Berry Burst cardstock with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Use Liquid Glue to adhere the completed layer to the front of the assembled box.  Tie a bow with Berry Burst 3/8″ Metallic-Edge Ribbon from the Sweet Soiree Suite.  Use Mini Glue Dots to adhere the bow to the front of the box, as shown.  I like to add another glue dot or two to the tails of the bow to create some permanent ruffles.

Stamp the twig with berries image from the Cake Soiree stamp set in Old Olive ink on a panel of Whisper White cardstock.  Rub across the stamped image with an Embossing Buddy.  Then use Versamark ink on the For You stamp from the Cake Soiree stamp set and stamp over the stamped twig.  Apply Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder and tap off the excess.  Use the Heat Tool on the #2 setting to heat the embossing powder until it is smooth and shiny.   Allow to cool completely and die cut with the largest floral outline die from the Sweet Cake Framelits Dies.  Use the same die on a panel of Marina Mist cardstock to cut a matching “circle”.  Layer the two die cuts together and punch a 1/16″ hole on one side near the edge for the twine. Cut a 5″ length of Silver Baker’s Twine and thread it through the two tags plus a silver leaf from the Petal Passion Embellishments. Tie the assembled tag to one handle section of the box before closing the ends.
