Stampin’ Up! Petal Palette Embellished Notecard

I received some wonderful black & white monogrammed notecards as a gift from my Secret Santa and embellished one with the sweet little bird and the die cut branch from the Petal Palette Bundle.

I stamped the bird image from the Petal Palette stamp set with Memento Black ink on Whisper White Thick cardstock, then colored it with the Bronze and Ivory Stampin Blends alcohol markers.  I cut it out using the coordinating die from the Petals & More Thinlits Dies.  Then I cut the large branch from the Petals & More Thinlits Dies from Old Olive cardstock.  I used my Paper Snips to “prune” the branch a bit to modify the shape for this card.

I glued the branch to the card front using small dabs of Multipurpose Liquid Glue after rearranging it as shown.  The Bird is then adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I used Linen Thread to make a 5-looped bow and adhered it with a Mini Glue Dot.  Done!

I love everything about the new Petal Passion Suite – the brushstroke-style images and sentiments in the stamp set, the dies, the Petal Passsion Designer Series Paper, Petal Pair embossing folders, Petal Passion embellishments and Whisper White 1/4″ Organza ribbon.  They will all be available starting January 3rd, when the 2018 Occasions Catalog goes live.  AND Sale-A-Bration starts the same day!  Yippee!!!

COMING SOON!  Stay tuned for an upcoming Special Offer from me for the Petal Passion Suite
