Stampin’ Up! Celebrate You Sneak Peek Anniversary Card for the Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop

Welcome back to another Inkin’ Krew blog hop!  Our very talented team is doing a blog hop featuring Stampin’ Up! products.  This month our theme is “Celebrate”.  Here is the card I created:

This is a Sneak Peek of the Celebrate You Thinlits Dies (#146840) available in the Sale-A-Bration brochure starting on January 3, 2018.  The set features three awesome dies and has a coordinating stamp set called Amazing You (#147212), also in Sale-A-Bration.  So they both can be earned – free with purchase – Yippee!

The sentiment is die cut from a panel of Gold Foil and adhered to a panel of Basic Black cardstock with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  This layer is adhered to a panel of Gold Foil with Liquid Glue.  Use the Decorative Ribbon Border Punch on Basic Black cardstock to prepare two lengths of the paper “ribbon”  Adhere the punched trim to the back of the sentiment panel along the top and bottom edges with Liquid Glue.

Use the Large Number Framelits to cut the numbers twice – once from Gold Foil and a second time from Basic Black cardstock.  Adhere the black layer behind the Gold Foil layer, slightly offset to the left to create a shadow and add depth.  Adhere a panel of Bundle of Love Specialty Designer Series Paper to a panel of Basic Black cardstock with SNAIL.   Now adhere the layered sentiment panel close to the lower edge of this panel with Liquid Glue.

Tie a bow with Gold 3/8″ Metallic-Edge Ribbon and adhere close to the top edge of this panel with Mini Glue Dots.  Lastly, use Liquid Glue to adhere the numbers below the bow and above the sentiment panel.  The completed art panel is adhered to the Very Vanilla card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Adhere a narrow strip of the Designer Series Paper along the left side of a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock.  Use Basic Black Archival ink to stamp the sentiments from the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set to the panel before adhering it to a Basic Black cardstock mat with SNAIL.  The completed layer is adhered to the card interior with SNAIL, as well.

There you go, an elegant card to “Celebrate” a 50th wedding anniversary, agreed?
