Here’s a quick and easy project for Christmas treats and cards.  The gold foil Striped Treat Bags are elegant, a great size and food safe!  Win-win-win!

This Treat Bag design was inspired by a sample I saw in a display on Patty Bennett’s blog. To begin, stamp the sentiment from the Hang Your Stocking stamp set on Whisper White cardstock with Cherry Cobbler ink.  Cut out with the Layering Circles Framelits Dies.  Punch the round mat from the Garden Green cardstock panel using the Starburst Punch.  Adhere the sentiment piece to the Garden Green punched layer with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Wrap a 16″ length of Gold 3/8″ Metallic-Edge Ribbon around the Striped Treat Bag and tie with a double knot off to the right side.  Secure the ribbon to the bag with a small amount of Multipurpose Liquid Glue in the area that will be covered by the snowflake.  The Metallic Snowflake is then adhered to the left front of the bag over the ribbon with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. NOTE: the Snowflake is white side facing up and metallic side facing down. Limit the glue on the Snowflake to the area that will be covered by the sentiment panel.

The sentiment panel is adhered over the center of the snowflake with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  The flower is cut from Cherry Cobbler cardstock with a die from the Support Ribbon Framelits.  Apply a Stampin’ Dimensional to the center of the flower on the back side and add a medium size Gold Faceted Gem on the front side.  Adhere the flower to the front of the bag as shown with the Stampin’ Dimensional.  The leaves are cut with a die from the Support Ribbon Framelits from Garden Green cardstock.  They are adhered slightly under the edge of the flower with a small amount of Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
