Stampin’ Up! has released the Eastern Palace Suite from the new 2017-18 Annual Catalog for customer orders a month before the catalog launch.  How awesome is that?!?  It’s available for purchase in two special bundles – more on that later.   Here’s my card:

My card design was inspired by the Mojo Monday 495 sketch.  Fun!

I started by selecting different patterns from the Eastern Palace Designer Series Paper that I felt would show off all the fabulous layers on this card.  I love the rich colors and the way all the patterns work so well together and don’t overpower each other. I matted each layer on either Gold Foil Sheets or Dapper Denim cardstock.  Then I finished off the sentiment layer with a star shaped die cut from the Eastern Medallions Thinlits Dies, embellished with a large Gold Faceted Gem – available in just a few weeks.  The sentiment is from the Flourishing Phases stamp set, stamped in Dapper Denim ink.

For the inside of the card, I used a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock trimmed with a strip of the Designer Series Paper.
