Stampin’ Up! Beautiful You Reflection Card

The Beautiful You stamp set has a nice variety of images and sentiments.  This makes it very versatile, so it can be used in many ways for many occasions.

For the art piece, I stamped the dancing girl image with Archival Basic Gray ink on a panel of Shimmery White cardstock.  Then I stamped her again on the smooth side of the acrylic sheet from the Stamp-a-ma-jig.  Using a baby wipe, I carefully removed the puddle portion of the image, then turned it over, aligned the reflection image below the original and pressed the acrylic sheet to the paper to “stamp” the reflection.

I used a Blender Pen to apply ink to the image as follows: Soft Sky for the skirt, Sahara Sand for the top, So Saffron for the hat and Blushing Bride for the arms and legs.  I used an Aqua Painter dipped in Soft Sky ink and applied color from the puddle area down to the bottom of the panel.  Once the art piece was dry, I adhered it to a panel of Soft Sky cardstock with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I used SNAIL to adhere the patterned paper panel to a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock.  Then I wrapped a length of Very Vanilla 1/4″ Satin Ribbon to this panel as shown, securing on the back with tape and adhered this panel to the card base using SNAIL.

To finish, I adhered the art piece to the card front with Dimensionals and attached a small bow tied with Very Vanilla 1/4″ Satin Ribbon with a Glue Dot.  Then I adhered a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock to the card interior with SNAIL.
